Living in the South means that the majority of the year we’re in flipflops and cute summer shoes. A friend told me about something she’d tried and I decided to give it a shot to see how well it would work for me after she raved about the results she got.
I ordered Baby Foot from Amazon and it came quickly thanks to Prime shipping (Not a Prime member? Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial!). Everything seems all natural which made me more willing to give it a try.
Inside the box is the packet of booties and instructions. The package is sealed so you can open the box and read through the instructions without having to do the treatment right away if you’re not ready.
The booties came inside the foil packet and are easy to put on. There are some adhesive strips to help keep the booties securely on your feet while you sit and let the goop inside the booties work their magic.
It’s fairly simple to slip the booties on and put the adhesive strips on. Be sure to keep your hands dry and the plastic on the booties dry as well or the strips won’t stick. You do have to sit for an hour with the booties on so prepare yourself before putting them on. Go to the bathroom, grab the remote and kick back for an hour.
Once you take the booties off you’re supposed to wash your feet with soap and water. I took a shower right away and my feet felt normal following that. I put the booties on Saturday afternoon and by Tuesday the skin was starting to peel off my feet.
By the following Monday, my feet looked like they were incredibly dry and skin was still coming off. It wasn’t super noticeable to other people but to me I could totally tell they were still flaky and peeling. They were a bit itchy too. Before long, the skin was really peeling off of them.
After about a week or so of peeling, my feet just looked dry. I resumed my normal routine of putting lotion on my feet at night and they were back to normal in just a couple of days. Overall I don’t know if this helped any more than a regular pedicure but it was fun to try.
Do you do anything to get your feet flip flop ready?
