Sometimes things don’t go as planned and you need some things to help keep the kids on track.  When the kids are sick, you’re on a vacation, or school is cancelled due to a natural disaster, you’ve still got to help keep them learning at home.  I’ve gathered up a bunch of different resources to help you learn at home. 

Don’t forget to make some time to get outside and move around a bit during the day!

Some of these resources are online and some are printables.  There are games and even educational things you can watch on Netflix!  I’ve also included resources to help teachers keep students learning at home both to keep in touch with students and stay organized.  There are things on this list for students of all ages to learn at home no matter what their interests.

 

General resources

This section of resources to help learn at home offer a variety of subjects for your kids to work on.  These are a great “go go” because of the variety offered:

Math

Either you love it or you hate it.  And if you fall into the “hate it” category, helping your kiddos learn at home is going to be a challenge.  These resources are for you:

Reading

Reading is such an important skill that so many kids learn differently.  You might not think about reading resources when helping your child learn at home, but these can help incorporate more than just the books on your shelf at home:

Stories Being Read

One more story!  Sure we’ve love to be able to sit and read stories for hours but that’s often not an option.  Listening to stories is just as important as reading it themselves so this is an important part of learning at home:
