We all know that self care is important because of our busy, stressful lives. It’s hard to find time to actually care for ourselves. These ideas will help that special someone on your list make some time to relax and take a break.
Having a nice comfy robe to slip on can be so relaxing. It’s easier to lounge around in your pjs when you’re covered up and cozy in your robe too.
Slip on fuzzy slippers after a long day at work while you’re making dinner or folding laundry. These shorter ones are super fuzzy. There are also ones that come up taller too to keep your ankles warm.
There’s no better way to spend a rainy day then curled up on the couch binging on Netflix or reading a good book in your pjs, robe, and fuzzy socks.
Soft feet are happy feet. This foot cream is amazing and smells fantastic. Put a little on after a nice bath and wake up to soft feet.
Spend some time soaking in a nice hot bath, complete with bubbles. Throw in a good book or magazine, drink, and some music and you’ve got a nice, relaxing Saturday evening. Dr. Teals has epsom salt which can be healing as well as relaxing. If bubbles aren’t your thing, try these bath bombs.
Don’t have time for a bubble bath but still need a few minutes of “me” time? A nice face mask will give you a little time out. I like ones that are actual masks but you can also use a mask that will wash off too.
Essential Oils and Diffuser
Using oils doesn’t take any time but will help you relax. Or sleep. Or energize yourself. A diffuser is a great way to distribute the oils throughout the room. Or rollers of oils applied right to your skin can be helpful as well. Order the blends already made or make your own with oils.
After you’ve had a bath and turned your diffuser on, curl up on the couch with a new fuzzy blanket and read your favorite book or catch up on a new show on Netflix.
