Having a scout elf come visit doesn’t have to be a pain in the neck or just a bunch of silly activities. Your elf could also bring some activity ideas to help your family give back and remember the reason for this holiday season. I’ve gathered together some Elf on the Shelf activities for your elf to print out and share with your family.
Need a calendar to keep your elf shenanigans straight? I’ve got one for you!
Your Elf Can Help You Make a Difference
It’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness of everything that (we think) needs to happen during the holiday season. For me, overwhelm sets in then I just freeze and nothing seems to get done when it should. With these free Elf on the Shelf activities, it will help you refocus on spending time with your family and giving back. There are three pages of ideas to keep you busy throughout the holiday season.
You’ve Already Got Things on Hand
When your elf brings these different activities for your family, you won’t have to worry about needing any kind of extra supplies or anything. You’ve probably already got most everything you need on hand! And lots of these tasks involve cleaning out and decluttering so it’s a win-win for giving back and cleaning out the house.
Grab Some Friends
Lots of these activities can be done with more than just your family. Grab your friends and their families too! Be the collection house for gathering cold weather gear to make it easy for other people to participate. Not sure where to take your donations? Reach out to your local churches, shelters, or schools. They will know where your donations will be most beneficial.
Does your elf need accessories? Make sure you check out these free Elf on the Shelf props!
