One of my favorite things to do is sit and people watch. No matter where we are, I’m always watching what’s happening around us. I also used to have a really great memory and would be able to tell you where things were in a room or about conversations. (Now I’m lucky if I remember what day it is…) This Christmas I Spy game is similar to people watching, except you’re studying what’s on the paper instead of the scenes around you.
Print off copies of this fun Christmas I Spy game for the kids to do once they’re ready for school in the morning or when they get home to unwind after their day. If you’ve got more than one kiddo, make sure everyone’s got a copy. Depending on the age of your kids, they can write the number of items in the squares at the bottom of the page. If they’re not into writing numbers yet, they could also make tally marks or dots in the boxes.
Printing off this I spy game would be a fun way to surprise your kids and tell them you’re going to look at Christmas lights or see Santa too. Offer to print out some extra copies for your child’s class. This would be fun for the kids to do at the beginning or end of the day.
