Being part of the Chick-fil-A (CFA) Mom Club not only gives me the chance (with lots of other awesome moms!) to hear about new things coming to CFA and give our thoughts on things like the items included in the kids meals but to also get fun little packages throughout the year. We recently got the goodies pictured above and the kids were so excited. Thankfully they call claimed something different so there was no fighting over who got what (that rarely happens in this house!). I want to share three reasons why I think Chick-fil-A stands apart from other fast food restaurants:
Yes being part of this special group is pretty cool, but it’s more special to me because I only partner with brands that I personally know, use, and love. CFA is one of our favorite places to stop on the way home and grab a quick dinner or drink. My oldest does have a peanut allergy but he enjoys the drinks, side dishes, and ice cream treats just as much as any other restaurant and we’ve never had a problem with his allergy. (Before you tell me how we shouldn’t eat there because they use peanut oil with his allergy or how we should try him eating there because he won’t react to the peanut oil, I’m really good with the choices I’m making for him.)
Kids Meals
The kids meals are a favorite. I love that the “prize” is something the kids will actually use and enjoy. Books and Table Topics game cards are awesome to find in the bag along with the tasty food. It’s also not just your typical chicken nuggets or burger. Portion sizes are just right for my kiddos.
Fundraising
Our local CFA is fantastic about supporting the local schools and community organizations. There always seems to be a Spirit Night and they’re always well attended. It’s nice to support a business that supports the community it’s a part of.
Catering
Here’s something fun – there are lots of catering options with CFA. You can order nugget trays that are cold so you can pick it up when it’s convenient for you and reheat when it’s time for your get together. Our CFA will also deliver catering orders (I don’t know that they all do this and if there’s a minimum order or anything – check with your local CFA) which can also be a huge time saver. When you’re throwing a party having something on your to do list that someone else can do for you is a huge help!
Yes you’ll get the same delicious food you’d get in the restaurant but it’s all packaged in durable containers so it arrives to you hot, fresh, and ready to be put out for your guests. We’ve always had plates, utensils, sauces, condiments and just about anything else you’ll need included in catering orders which is a nice touch (the buckets in the picture above are ice…they seriously think of everything!).
What’s your favorite thing to get from CFA? Leave a comment and let me know. Maybe we’ll find something new we’ve got to try.
